# General Installation

1. Upload the ambr4\_dropfeed folder into resources/\[ambr4]/ambr4\_dropfeed (or any other category folder you use).
2. Add to server.cfg - (ensure ambr4\_dropfeed) restart your server or type refresh and start ambr4\_itemfeed in the console.
3. Open config.lua inside ambr4\_dropfeed and configure the script.

#### ❗Important – OX Inventory users

If your server uses **ox\_inventory**, you **must use the OX dropfeed version** of the script:

1. **QBCore + ox\_inventory** → use the **OX dropfeed version** (not the default qb inventory version).
2. **ESX + ox\_inventory** → also use the **OX dropfeed version**.

{% hint style="success" %}
Drop Feed works out of the box with **ox\_inventory**, **qb-inventory**, and the **default ESX inventory**.\
It also supports **custom inventory systems** that reuse or forward the same triggers/events from these inventories (drop / remove / add item events).\
If you need support for a different inventory system, please contact our support and we will add the integration for you.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://ambr4-scripts.gitbook.io/docs/scripts/item-drop-feed/general-installation.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
